From the Bauer Blog:
"This year Bauer has adopted “The 7 Habits of Happy Kids” written by Sean Covey and based on the work initiated by his father, Stephan R. Covey who wrote “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”. These habits reflect the school’s philosophy for how to conduct oneself while in school and in life. The habits encourage the students to develop leadership skills and productive habits that help them to be successful in all areas of their lives."
This is the first year we are focusing on “The 7 Habits of Happy Kids.” We are very excited to get this up and rolling. We have spent time in class talking about each habit and what it means to be a LEADER. Below are some of the things we discussed.
I am excited to see the students demonstrating these habits. They can earn "habit cards" which will be placed in a weekly drawing. Seven students will be drawn each week and they earn the responsibility to be a Bauer Leader. They get to wear a badge that identifies them as a leader.
