Important Dates:

• May 19, 21, 22, 26, 28 - M-STEP Testing for 3rd Grade
• May 25 - No School - Memorial Day

• May 29 - Final Pizza with Parents

Writing:

We are starting our final writing unit this week. Students will be writing an opinion essay. This week we will choose topics, plan our essays and begin writing. 

Spelling:

We are on week 25 spelling words. This will be the LAST spelling list of the year. 

Math:

We will spend quite a bit of time these next few days practicing area and perimeter. Our test will be Thursday. 

Science:

This week we will start our simple machines unit. Students will get the basic understanding of 6 simple machines to prepare them for Monday's field trip. We will continue our unit next week as well.
