What a FUN day we had today celebrating Milton Hershey's birthday. A HUGE thank you to the 6 moms who helped us run some math stations this afternoon. We couldn't have done it without you! These activities had us eating all kinds of yummy chocolate today. I hope you heard all about it!
At this station the students had to find the area of their Hershey bar. Thank you Mrs. Sadler and Mrs. Tuttle for helping.
At the next station, students had to find the perimeter of shapes using M&M's. Thank you Mrs. Terpstra for helping.
At the next station, students had to predict how long it would take to melt a frozen Hershey Kiss in our mouth.
The final station was weighing Hershey bars, Hershey kisses, and M&M's using gram weights. Thank you Mrs. Brechting and Mrs. Bakker for helping. Thanks too to Mrs. Draggoo for stopping in as well.
