Today we had our second mystery reader. Ella's Grandma (Darling) was our surprise guest. She brought so many wonderful books to show us and talk about. Darling's passion for reading is sure contagious. I think she could get anyone excited about reading. Thank you SO much for spending so much time in our class, and sharing your love for books. We loved it!
She showed us a lot of books - many of which were very old.
Reading is so important. She told us we even have to read cookbooks some day. She made us popcorn balls out of her favorite recipe book. How fun!
That pile of books on the table are just some of the ones she shared with us today. Each one was special to her in some way.
