Important Dates:
- March 9 - NO SCHOOL for students. Records Day
- March 11 & 12 - Parent/Teacher Conferences
Writing:
The students have finished their realistic fiction stories. We will revise and edit, and then spend the week typing them. The students will learn how to insert punctuation while typing. They will also be expected to indent their paragraphs and use punctuation.
Spelling:
We are on week 18 spelling words. There will NOT be spelling next week, being a shorter week.
Math:
We assessed addition and subtraction today. Our next unit continues with addition and subtraction, focusing more on multi step word problems.
Social Studies:
We continue learning about Michigan History. This week we will wrap up the Three Fires talk and learn about the French.
*Please consider reading to our class for March is Reading month. the kids LOVE when you do. We are very flexible with time, so email a day and time that works for you, and we will fit it in your schedule. Almost any day in March will work!
