Writing:
We have finished our personal narratives, and the students will finish typing them today. We will now practice writing persuasive essays and then move to informational.
Math:
Students had their first math test last week. I will be saving those tests and giving them to you at conference next week. Our next unit continues right where we left off with multiplication. We still need to learn our 6's, 7's and 8's. These are definitely the most difficult. Please continue to practice facts at home with your child.

Students did great on the geography test last week. We will now learn all about Michigan's history. Another favorite among third graders.
