Important Dates:
- January 23 - Habit Assembly. Wear your class shirt.
- January 30 - February 2 - NO SCHOOL (Mid Winter Break)
Writing:
We have been reading essays and brainstorming ideas this week. We will choose our essay topic soon and begin drafting our essays toward the end of the week.
Spelling:
We are on week 15 of spelling. A new list is coming home today. This week our focus will be spelling words with oy and oi.
Math:
We spent an hour and a half today reviewing for tomorrow's math test. We rotated through stations to practice all of the different concepts that will be assessed. The students are bringing home another practice test today to help them study.
Science:
We are finishing up our light unit this week. Watch for a review sheet to come home Tuesday or Wednesday. Test will be Thursday.
*Please have all book orders turned in/submitted online before Friday at noon. There are some great books this month.
